- This fixture is AWESOME. If you're looking to get some serious color and growth in your tank, this is the unit for you. The intensity of the lighting on this baby is unbeatable. It also comes with very sturdy legs that are very easy to adjust, and a hanging option.
This unit comes with a 9x1 watt high output LED strip built in with two settings(low/high). These LEDs are INSANE! They put off a KILLER shimmer EVEN when all the T5s are on! So it's LIKE you have metal halide
s shimmer without the added heat and electricity! And until you have seen these LEDs in person, you seriously CANNOT get the full effect! They will blow your mind at how bright they are. I loved them so much that after I received this unit, I bought the 21x 1watt high output strip for my 125+g mixed reef!! These Finnex LEDs are the hands down the brightest LEDs on the market. You can even notice the fluorescence increase when they are on with ALL THREE of my 250w Radiums running . It's crazy! You can see my corals from space with these things on the LOW setting!
