UlcerGard is easy to use, well accepted, and it's the only non-prescription, FDA-approved equine ulcer preventive. Each syringe contains the same amount of Omeprazole as GastroGard, but the directions for ulcer prevention is different - 1/4 tube/dose.

- Wonderful product. Very efficacious. Same product as rx Gastrogard without the need for a prescription!!! HOWEVER, I would NOT RECOMMEND ordering from Medi-Vet. I had a horrible experience. Was overcharged on shipping and did not receive the product when I was expecting it. The company was not helpful in resolving my problem and charges a 20% re-stocking fee plus the over-charge on the shipping if you need to return unopened product. There are several other companies available, that charge less and have much better customer service.
